Julia Elizabeth Dalton, 94, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was a member of the Order of Amaranth and the Eastern Star. Julia was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She retired from Brown and Williamson after 27 years of service. She enjoyed life, cooking, and many activities with the Order of Amaranth and was a member of TOPS. Julia was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church.
Julia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecil Dalton; parents, Carl and Dora Montgomery; many of her siblings; and son-in-law, Russ Tucker.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Betty Tucker, Shirley Dalton, Peggy Druck (Tim), Lesa Collins (Bill); grandchildren, Kenneth "Trey" Rowe (Alisa), Carie Rowe (Emmitt), Stephanie Furnish (Loren), Christine Daggy (Aaron); great grandchildren, Faith, Christian, Bradon, Zachary, Garett, Hailee; great-great grandchild, Waylon; sister, Helen Ashby; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be Monday, October 9, 2023 from 3pm until 7pm at Arch L Heady Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. 40219. The Funeral Service is Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial in Veterans' Cemetery - Radcliff will immediately follow.
