He was in sales for many years with Nugent Sand Company. Joe attended St. James Elementary School and was a graduate of St. Xavier High School. He attended Indiana University and had been in the US Coast Guard. Joe loved boating, especially his special boating friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Cynthia S. Wedding; two children, Mike Wedding (Kathy) and Amy Bernhard; sister, Joan Niemeier-McDonough (Junnie); three step-children, Kate Rudd (Steven Sarfin), Ashley Hall (Michael Bariski) and Dan A. Hall Jr. (Julia); eight grandchildren, Lindsey, Joshua, Joseph, Kathryn, Jonathan, Jeremy, Hunt and Megan and last his beloved dog, JD.
A service to honor the life of Mr. Wedding will be conducted at 11:30 am, Thursday October 4, 2012, in the chapel at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Wednesday.
In lieu of customary expressions of flowers the family has requested memorial gifts to the St. Xavier Scholarship Fund.
