Joseph Miller

Born to the late William Miller and Elizabeth Mofield, Joseph is preceded in death by the love of his life for 68 years, Bette C. Miller; his siblings Bill Shireman and Ralph Miller; and his grandson Paul Jason Prell.

Here to carry on his memory are his daughters, Rebecca Henderson (Rick) and Victoria A. Morales; granddaughters Michelle Baxter and Aundrea Garr; great-grandchildren Christian Garr, Vann Baxter, Tre Himes, Austin Wadsworth, and Izabel Baxter; his sister Frances Hellinger; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Joseph proudly served in the U.S. National Guard for over 13 years. He then went on to retire from Ford after working there for over 45 years. He was a member of Southeast Christian Church. In the words of his family, Joseph was "the best dad in the world" and adored spending time with his family. Joseph loved to square dance with Bette, garden with Bette, and travel with her as well. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Christian Garr for his selfless care he provided for Joseph.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 3:00 PM - 8: 00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service in Joseph's honor will begin at 12:30 PM Monday, October 21, 2024, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
