Joseph Anthony Cusano

He was born on November 12, 1950 in Bronx, NY to the late Anthony Cusano and Clara Pennisi.

Joseph graduated from Evander Childs High School in Bronx, NY. After serving in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, he graduated from Stony Brook University on Long Island. He later completed a graduate degree at Colgate University. After marrying Jane Carro in 1980, he earned Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) during his professional career.

He was a devoted husband and father who had many varied interests including computer programming, economics, foreign languages, firearms, curling, classical music and cross-country skiing. He attended Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Cusano and sons Giancarlo (Diana) and Nathaniel. Also surviving are his grandchildren John, Daniel, and Grace.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made is Joseph's name to the Clifton Baptist Church Building Beyond 125 Fund at www.cliftonbaptist.org

A funeral service will be held at Arch L. Heady and Son Westport, 7410 Westport Rd, Louisville, Kentucky 40222 on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2 PM. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 AM to 2 PM. Following the funeral, Joseph will be laid to rest at Worthington Cemetery, Chamberlain Lane & Brownsboro Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40241.
