John Dennis Kessel, 76, entered into rest on Saturday November 21, 2020. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ralph and Elsie Kessel; John served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of Valley Masonic Lodge 511, Kosair Shriner, Louisville Scottish Rite and South Jefferson Christian Church. John was retired from Phillip Morris and he was employed at Bethany Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by his Wife, Elaine Kessel; Sons, Gregg Kessel (Kim) and John Michael Kessel (Jenny); Brothers, William Kessel (MaryAnn), Johnny Stone (Brenda); His grandchildren, Chase and Izabel; Nephews, Billy and David; Nieces, Jennifer and Heather. His Funeral Service will be Private. Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be held in Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
