John Archer

John was retired from Ford Motor Company and was an Army Veteran. He was a member of the old Saint Clement Catholic Church, American Legion Post 200 and the VFW.

John was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael Archer.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Glenda; daughters, Tonia Williams (Steven), Melissa Massey (Tyrone), Teresa Leis (William); his son, Sylvester "Buddy" Archer (Mitzi); and siblings, Barbara Fields and Danny Archer; 19 grandchildren, Robert (Samantha), Lynn (Andrew), BJ (Morgan), Sara, Sydnie, Brandon (Cyndi), Samantha, Justin (Crystal), Emily, Cody (Taylour), Jadyn, Jillian, and Olivia (Caden); and 18 great grandchildren.

A visitation for John will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. A funeral will occur Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers you would considering donating to The American Heart Association or The Wounded Warriors Project.
