Jo Donna Campbell

She was born on August 4, 1946 in Louisville Kentucky to the late George & Dorothy (Penner) Shields. Jo retired from the Hazelwood Center where she worked as a Training Manager. She was a member of the St. Thomas More Church and was also a member of St. Peter the Apostles Friendship Club. Jo also loved her UK Wildcats.

Jo is preceded in death by her parents, George & Dorothy (Penner) Shields; husband, James Kenneth Campbell; brother, George Michael Shields & sister, Elizabeth.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Chris (Bobbi) Campbell, Kenny (Tammy) Campbell; grandchildren, Cody, Samantha, Justin, Haylie & Jacob; one brother, Patrick (Annette) Shields and one sister, Mary Lee (Gary) Anderson, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and then again on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums.
