Jesse Woodrow Johnson, Jr., was born on July 27, 1940 to the late Jesse Woodrow Johnson Sr. and Donnie Lee Barnes and passed from this life on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at his home in Bowling Green. Left to cherish his memory is a sister Rita Mulkins (Bill); a niece, Jessica Sigman (Doug Filben); and a great nephew, Thomas Sigman. He is also survived by his Bowling Green family the management and staff of Help At Home, who loved and cared for him. And also his special guardian, Karen Rector. A service to celebrate Mr. Johnson’s life will be held at noon on Saturday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with cremation to follow. Inurnment will be at a later date in St. Michael Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday after 10 am. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
