Jerry enjoyed watching sports, he was both a UK and UofL fan, however, his favorite team was the Seattle Seahawks. He loved listening to music, searching different local bands and going to Dave Matthews Band concerts. Jerry was an Air Force Veteran, stationed stateside and in Thailand and Germany. After his service in the Air Force, he continued his service in General Dynamics.
Here to carry on his memory is his son, Anthony Summers; sister, Luanne Nichols; many cousins and extended family and friends; and his wife of 36 years, even though they were divorced, they never stopped loving each other.
Visitation will take place on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, from 11-2pm. A celebration of Jerry's life will begin at 2:00 following visitation. Jerry will be laid to rest in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery, 2501 N Dixie Blvd. Radcliff, KY 40160.
