Jeffrey (Jeff) L. Malone age 75, of Louisville, KY passed away peacefully on Monday February 19, 2024. Jeff was a Christian, a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She is reunited with her loving husband of 56 years Mike Malone, who passed away just 7 weeks ago.
Jeff is survived by her daughter Joley Klondike (Rod), and son Lee Malone (Jennifer). Jeff was a loving “Granna” to her 5 grandchildren: Tyler, Jensen, Jeffrey, Jacob, and Sarah (Fiancé Neal). She is also survived by her sister Peggy Williams, sisters-in-law Mitzi Skaggs (Kenneth), Diane Worrell (Bill), and several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Jeff retired from Jefferson Co. Public Schools where she worked as a family resource center liaison and enjoyed working closely with special needs children and families. Early in her career she was a very talented floral designer, working on weddings, special events, and the Garland of Roses for the Kentucky Derby. She enjoyed decorating (especially for Christmas), spending time with family, friends, and her labradoodle Harley. Jeff had a heart of gold and will be missed by many.
A celebration of life with family and friends will be held on Friday, March 29th from 3-6pm at the Locust Creek Neighborhood Clubhouse (18500 Longview Park Lane, Louisville, KY 40245)
