BRYANT, IOLA, 90, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011 peacefully at the Norton's Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Baptist Church. Iola was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Edward Jackson Bryant Sr.; and a son, Edward Jackson Bryant Jr. She is survived by her loving children, Margie B. Reed, Norma Bryant Howard, Wanda Bryant Wills (Edward) and Yusef Bryant (Clareta); siblings, Maude Cobb, Dorothy Hill, Pearline Hamilton and Catherine Williams; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown, 10600 Watterson Trail. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Monday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. till time of service. Her burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
