Herman E. Honaker, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 with his family by his side. Herman was a member of Valley View Church, retired from Southern Standard Carton and proudly served in the United States Army.
His parents, Nathan and Grace Honaker, sister Lenora Adams, and brothers Alan Honaker, Nathan Honaker, and Arnold Honaker, precede Herman in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 58 years, Velma Honaker; son, Michael Honaker; siblings: Dolly Payne(Bobby), Frebert Honaker(Jean), Alice Elkins(Curtis), Carol Wilson(Eugene), Garnet Honaker(Shirley), Carolyn Clark(W.L.) and Janice Satterly.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 12pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky 40219, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Monday, October 22, from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
