Chad was born on March 6th, 1963, in Louisville, KY to Harvey Sherman Chadwell, Jr. and Lillie Mae Klempner. Chad attended Iroquois High School and Campbellsville University.
Chad’s passion for recovery and second chances led him to assist others in overcoming obstacles as a counselor at The Healing Place, Raleigh, NC, and subsequently, founding Sober Works, Louisville, KY. Through Chad’s ministry he leaves behind a legacy of forgiveness, hope, and love. A true example of how healing can take place through Christ. Chad was a member of Milligan Assembly of God in Baker, FL. Beloved Pastor James White, of Milligan, will perform his services.
Chad is survived by his mother, (Lillie Mae Klempner), sister, (Pamela White), brother, (David Chadwell), and sister, (Cynthia Nally). Chad also leaves behind four children (Jeffrey Vierling, Corey Moore, Farrah Chadwell, and Jaleb Chadwell) and two grandchildren; in addition to, a host of nieces and nephews. Chad is also survived by his beloved, Teri Irwin, her three daughters (Courtney, Sarah, and Taylor) and Teri’s parents.
Chad was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Sherman Chadwell, Jr. and his stepfather, Irving Bernard Klempner.
Services will be held on Monday, June 3rd at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Louisville, KY, with visitation from 1-4 pm and a Funeral starting at 4 pm. A private graveside service will be held at the Chadwell Cemetery in Ewing, VA on Tuesday, June 4th at 2 pm.
