He was born December 28, 1928 in Scott County, KY the son of the late Arthur M. and Annie E. (Wilhoit) Watson. He was also preceded in death by four siblings, J.W. Watson, Allen Watson, Willetta Hammons and Arthur Watson.
Harold retired from Fischer Packing Company. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Lyndon Christian Church where he served as a Deacon and Elder. He served on the board of Kentuckiana Christian Missions. He also participated in the Woodworkers club and made wood toys for Toys for Tots.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Watson; three children, Danny L. Watson (Melissa), Darrell L. Watson (Rhonda) and Donna L. Watson; three grandchildren, D. Travis Watson (Jennifer), Sherri L. Pollard (Wayne), Michael E. Watson (Jenny); seven great-grandchildren and several nephews and cousins.
A service to celebrate Harold’s life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Porter Christian Church, 1206 Porter Rd. Sadieville, KY 40370. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM on Sunday at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church in Sadieville.
