Eva Mae Burton, 84, of Louisville, passed away January 13, 2022. She was retired from the Jefferson County Circuit Clerk office. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #6182, the Knights AC, and the former Barkley Democratic Club.
Eva was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Long; husband, George "Willie" Burton; sons, Kenneth Heuser and Terry Heuser; grandson, Gerald Burton; 4 sisters; and 3 brothers. She is survived by her children, Lola Burton(Terry), Sharon Whitaker, Alta Hayes, Rena Martin(Ricky), Terry Burton(Lola), Sharon Parsons(Mickey), and Larry Burton(Janie); 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Patty Heuser; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12pm Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
