Ernest Albert "Bud" Egger

Ernest Albert “Bud” Egger, 88, of Louisville, passed away August 15, 2019. He was retired from General Electric and was a member of Life Bridge Christian Church. Bud was an accomplished athlete and sports fan, having been a member of the ASA Softball Hall of Fame. He was also a member of Moose Lodge #5 and earlier in his life had been a member of the Army Reserves.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Egger; his wife, Elsie M. Egger; and sisters, Lorraine James and Babe Goins.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Richard Egger(Lisa), Joni Dalton, and Brenda Mills(Darrell); grandchildren, Sean Egger, Brandon Egger, Justin Slaughter, Cameron Dalton, and Courtney Middleton; great-grandchildren, Ashton Slaughter and Camden Middleton; and his sister, Marie “Mickey” Hartloff and her children, Lennie Hartloff and Nancy Hartloff.

Funeral service will be 2pm Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-2pm Sunday.

The family requests no flowers, however, memorial donations in Bud’s memory are suggested to the Alzheimers Association or Hosparus.
