Dwayne Dennis Robinson

He was born July 27, 1951 to Alice and Thomas Robinson, Sr. in Louisville, KY. He met the love of his life, Thelma when they were both in high school and dated for seven years before they married. During their 41 years of marriage, Dwayne and Thelma welcomed two daughters, Kelley and Amber into their lives.

Dwayne was employee of Rent-A-Center of 31 years. He enjoyed music and could be found working on different projects in the garage. But the sunshine of his life was his family. He looked forward to spending time with wife, children, brothers and his grandchildren. He cherished his grandchildren and was a doting grandfather.

He will be missed by his wife, Thelma; daughters, Kelley Robinson and Amber Robinson, his grandchildren, Trevonne Robinson and Aaliyah Henderson, his brothers, Thomas Robinson, Jr. and Ricky Robinson and his best friend and cousin, Eric White.

A celebration of his life will be celebrated at 2pm on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the chapel in Arch L. Heady Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky.

Family and friends are welcome to gather from 12 pm until the time of service.
