Dorothy M. Mills, 76, of Louisville passed away Friday at her residence. She went to Heaven to be with her husband of 47 years, Joseph A. Mills Sr. who preceded her in death.
She was a member and was active with St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and volunteered to be a member of the bereavement committee.
She is survived by her Son, Joseph A. Mills Jr. (Wendy); Daughter, Debbie Shoemaker (Merl); Granddaughter, Brooke Marie Shoemaker; Great Grandchildren, Bailey Joe Marie and EriAnna Lin Renea; Sisters, Shirley Garner, Nora Posasta, and Mary Brown; Extended family, Debbie Gruner, Linda Judd, Tommy Edelen, and Barbara Edelen.
Her funeral service will be held 10 am Monday at the Heady-Hardy funeral home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Entombment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday from 12-8 pm.
