He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Ervin Rountree.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 58 years, Alta; children, Donald Ray (Debora) Rountree, Lanita Jean (Robert) King, Robert Allen (Beth) Rountree, and Sonya Denise (Wayne) Taylor; grandchildren, Laura, Christina, Aaron, Gill, Heather, Tim, Ben, Nick, Nathan, Shelby, Austin, and Shannon; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Lavada (Louis) Bethards.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 am until service time. Entombment at Evergreen Cemetery.
