Dennis Williams

Dennis R. Williams, 77, resident of Prospect, Kentucky passed away on July 7, 2024. He was a loving husband of Barbara L. Williams. Born in Norwalk, CT, he was the son of late Earl and Helen (Obuchowski) Williams. Dennis graduated from Connecticut State Technical College and University of Bridgeport with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry. Dennis was a proud Veteran of the Connecticut Army National Guard, having served as a First Lieutenant (1LT). He loved his country and was a true patriot. Dennis spent his career in the Chemical Industry in several management positions. This career allowed him and his family to live in several states and to travel to many countries around the world.

Dennis was an active member of the Rotary Club of Prospect/Goshen for over twenty years. He was the founder of a senior golf group that continues today. He was an avid golfer, skier and enjoyed his community involvement. Dennis will be remembered as a loving, peaceful, and caring man. He treasured his family and friends and had a special love for his grandchildren, sharing words of wisdom and encouragement at every opportunity.

He is survived by his wife Barbara L. (Joseph) Williams, devoted children Gregory J. Williams and his wife Valerie, Jessica S. (Williams) Mapes and her husband Michael; and grandchildren Max, Hadley, Aiden and Ella. He was the brother of the late Margaret E. Oladovich.

Visitation will be held at Saint Bernadette Catholic Church, 6500 Saint Bernadette Avenue, Prospect, Kentucky on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. There will be a luncheon immediately following the Mass at the Parish Center.
