David L Williams

David was a graduate of University of Louisville Class of 1964. After 40 years of service to Süd-Chemie Inc, he retired as a Vice President of International Sales. During his service he earned 13 U.S. Patents. He was also a member of Valley View Church where he taught Sunday School for more than 20 years.

David was preceded in death by his parents Samuel T. Williams, Vennie Alvey Garrett and step-dad, Milton N. Garrett, Jr.; wife, Lillie Mae Williams and brother, Steven Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie " Nine years of marriage to sweet and wonderful Jackie"; his children, Eric (Gayle) Williams, Cynthia (Rob) Hazelip and Carey (Scotty) Frank; his grandchildren, Robby (fiancée, Kayla Green) Hazelip, Zachary Hazelip, Amanda Klain, Kyle Klain, Samuel Hazelip, Jackson Williams, Noah Hazelip and Hayden Williams; his two great-grandchildren, Logan Cook and Eiley Hazelip and his sister, Becky McCandless.

A Celebration of David’s Life will be held Friday 12 noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 3 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
