Mr. Daniel L. Meredith, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away January 5, 2024 at his home. Daniel was born February 7, 1930 in Edmonson County, Kentucky to the late Jessie Floyd Meredith and Emma Kerr Meredith. He enjoyed hunting, working on cars, and spending time with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. He served his country in the United States Marines and the United States Army. He also had the honor of serving the Abraham Lodge #8 and The Shriners as well.
Daniel is survived by his daughter, Patricia Merideth(Danny); son, Daniel Meredith(Glenda Bell); granddaughters, Angela Merideth Hager and Danielle Meredith; grandson, Christopher Merideth; brother, Donald Richard Meredith; sisters, Berta Thompson and Verda Whitman; great-grandchildren, Dale Lee Rains Jr., Aaron Brock, William Livers, Makayla Adams, Hunter Merideth, and Fisher Merideth; and two great-great-grandchildren on the way.
A funeral service with military honors will be held at 10am on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Sunday at the funeral home.
