C. L. “Pete”, Masden, 94, of Louisville passed from this life on Monday November 10, 2014. A native of Bullitt County, he was retired from South Central Bell after 35 years, a former member of South Park Country Club where he was an avid golfer, a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and an Air Force Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 69 years the former Margaret Partlow; a daughter, Joyce Volpert; grandchildren, Steve Volpert and Stacy Woityra; great grandchildren, Ava and Wheeler Woityra; and a nephew, Larry W. Small. A service to celebrate Mr. Masden’s life will be held at 10 am Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment with military honors will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday.
