Charlotte "Charlie" Rae Trumbo

Charlotte Rae Trumbo “Charlie”, age 2, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, October 27, 2023. Charlie was born in Louisville on July 19, 2021 to Chris and Katie Trumbo. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Keith Woods; her great-grandparents, Charles and Sue Woods and Phyllis Ruff.

She loved spending time and playing with her Bubba, Dylan. Her favorite activities were dancing, sliding and swinging. She loved walking the pond at Grammy and Pap Paps house. She also liked Paw Patrol and the Minions movies. She enjoyed playing with dogs. Charlie loved reading bedtime stories with her Daddy. She also really enjoyed her and Mommy’s shopping trips together.

Charlie was an adventurous little girl that would ride anything with wheels, so she could pretend it was a car. She wanted to stay in pajamas and crocs all the time. She would quote some of her favorite movies and shows, especially Woody and Buzz from Toy Story. She loved watching Bluey and singing along.

Charlie was the light of her family’s life. She will be missed so much and by so many.

She is survived by her loving and devoted parents, Chris and Katie Trumbo; brother, Dylan Trumbo; grandparents, Wade and Tracy Trumbo and Deanna Woods; great-grandparents, Terry and Sharon Twyman, Laura Romain, GH and Barb Trumbo and Robert Ruff; aunts, Carrie (Rob) Riley and Noelle (Rob) Lord; uncle, Josh (Lindsey) Trumbo; cousins, Easton and Everleigh Trumbo.

Celebration of Charlie’s life will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home, at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
