Taylor, Charles Edwin, 85, of Fairdale passed from this life on Monday March 19, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East. He was a retired Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army having served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Anne Taylor; daughters, Nancy Keith (Brian); and Mary Danielle (Michael); sons, Michael (Darlene), Robert and James Taylor; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Charles’ life will be held at 10 am Monday at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona with burial to follow in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday.
