Carolyne Lee Baker, age 80, of Louisville, passed away May 9, 2024, peacefully at her home. Mrs. Baker was born in Louisville, KY on February 24, 1944, to the late Charles Watts and Elsie (Hagood) Watts. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Edward Watts, and her sister Margaret Rhodes.
Carolyn graduated from Male High School in 1962. She was formerly employed at General Electric in the accounting department. She enjoyed her time at car shows, and cruising with her beloved husband in their 1937 Chevy Coupe.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Leonard Baker, her sons David Grant, Jeffery and Eric Baker (Tamatha). Her grandchildren Brandon, Zachary, Ashley, Christopher, Cody (Ashley), Amelia (Jordon), Nolan, Aiden, and Ava; and 7 Great Grandchildren.
A visitation for Carolyne will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.
