Carolyn White

Carolyn White, 83, of Louisville, KY passed away peacefully on April 28, 2018 surrounded by family. Carolyn, along with the love of her life, Bob, built a life based on Faith, Love, Family and Football. Tennessee Volunteer football that is, they loved the Tennessee Volunteers! Carolyn also loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. Carolyn retired after working as a Registered Nurse in labor and delivery for 35 years.

Preceding Carolyn in death is her husband, Robert “Bob” L. White. Her parents, Reverend James Burch Cooper and Dorothea Ware Cooper; Brother, James Roy Cooper; Sister, Phyllis Jackson.

Left to cherish the memory of Carolyn are her children, Lori Tandy (John), Tara Wright (Tony) and Lon White (Mindy). Her grandchildren, Ryan Waldron (Kristin), Jay Tandy (Christy), Megan Wright, Cody Wright and Joseph Wright; Great-grandchildren, Jax Tandy and Mason Wright; Best friend, Lyn Ridener; Sister, Dottie Crutchfield (Jim); Sister-in-law, Betty White and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Carolyn will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 2:00pm-6:00pm with a celebration of Carolyn’s life at 6:00pm on Thursday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in honor of Carolyn may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Baptist Health Hospital.
