She was a homemaker who loved to grow flowers, garden and play bridge. She and her late husband, Walter, used to love to travel the states and abroad. Carolyn loved being surrounded by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Daniel (Shelly) Meister, Marilynn Hodler and Carol (Steve) Schnell; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; her loving friend, Sue Basham and her forever faithful little dog, Willie.
A Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m.-noon.
