He was a retired driver for TARC and an Army veteran. Carl was a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church and attended First Cumberland Presbyterian.
He was preceded in rest by his wife, Tabitha, a son, Billy, and grandsons, Timothy Davidson and Charlie Blacklock.
Mr. Blacklock is survived by five children, Blenda Allamon (Donnie Steffan), Beneda Masters, Brenda Davidson (Jeff), Jeffery H. Blacklock and James E. Blacklock; seven grandchildren, C.J. Davidson, Keshia Blacklock, Ashley Blacklock, Joshua Blacklock, Matthew Blacklock, Dillon Allamon and Zoe Allamon; and eight great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be on Thursday, February 10th, at 11am at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway with interment to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from Wednesday 3pm until 8pm.
