Shirley, Brenda J., 71, "PeeWee" passed away at her home surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother, Granny, sister, friend. Brenda retired from JCPS after 26 years of service.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Paul and Dorothy Frye and brother, Paul E. Frye
Left to cherish to her memory are her daughters, Rhonda (Michael) Hawkins and Tonya Shirley (Ed Adcock); grandchildren, Michael, Catie, Megan, Timothy, Taylor, Kristen, Tara, Hannah, and Tori; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Ernie (Beverly) Frye and Steven (Natalie) Frye; sister-in-law, Faye Frye; and former husband, George Shirley.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
