William "Bill" R. Spaulding Sr., retired trucking executive and beloved champion of poor and homeless, humans and animals passed onto join our Lord Jesus in a new home. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of 36 years; Nancy Lee, his five children; Becky Wolf (Rich), Kari Bowman, Brian Spaulding (Sheliah), Amber Robbins, Ricky Spaulding Jr. (Jamie). Stepchildren; Susan Dutton, Sandy Dutton (Jami). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Bill was also a civil rights worker, union negotiator, a Lutheran Lay Minister and a published and gifted writer. Bill was a gentle and gifted man who will be missed by many.
