Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Boyd Easley (Willie Alice) and Viola McShane (William); husband, Peter A. Strader; and brother, James Easley.
Left to cherish Barbara’s memory are her children, Robin Lynn Welsh, Robert W. Strader, and Lecia Marie Cosand; grandchildren, Chad, Brent, Krista, Christian, Matt, Marissa, Tevin, and Eryn; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marcella Miller and Julia Eves (Paul); a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 3:00pm-8:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 12:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Barbara will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s name can be made to the American Lung Association.
