Barbara "Barb" Helen McCauley

Barbara Helen McCauley, better known as "Barb" and "Barbie", was 78 when she passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side. Barb was a registered nurse, following the example set by her stepmom, "Woody". She enjoyed bowling, going to the Peddlers Mall, vacationing in St. Augustine, FL gazing out into the ocean, and playing "Blitz" card game with family and friends. A true passion was attending Bible Study at Hikes Point Christian Church and visiting her furry "grandchildren" at the Tigers For Tomorrow Wild Animal Preserve.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Rieuf and Elaine Fowler; stepmom, Edith "Woody" Woolwine; daughter, Rebecca Lynn McCauley; and her siblings, Pam, Judy, Mark, John Fowler.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 58 years, Wilbur; son, Wilbur McCauley Jr and wife, Sue Steffens; stepdaughter, Kathi Kaiser; siblings, Kaylynn, Karen, Carol, Mary, David Fowler; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends.

A Gathering to celebrate Barb's life is Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 1pm - 3pm at Arch L Heady Funeral Home in Okolona with a Service at 3pm at the funeral home. The family has chosen cremation.
