Anthony Troy Brown

Anthony Troy Brown, 46, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at his residence. He was born on April 9, 1970 in Louisville KY to his wonderful parents, Kenny and Teresa Brown. He was an exceptional athlete throughout his childhood and played football for Desales High School. He was a dedicated supervisor for over 17 years with Reynolds Aluminum. He loved to coach baseball, umpire games and be one of the kids, playing and wrestling around. He was an active member of Powerhouse Gym and loved his gym family. His son, Dalton, was his best friend and #1 fan. Troy truly was a kind and gentle spirit that lit up the room. He was an amazing father and husband; who will be missed by so many.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 20 years, Becky, his children: Courtney Brown Garvin (Pat) and Dalton, three grandchildren: Cameron, Kylie and Maverick, his parents, Kenny and Teresa Faulkner Brown, his siblings: Chad (Jen) and Josh (Casey), nieces and nephews: Savannah, Keegan, Kamber, Zoey, Tanner, Laila, Clayton, Corinne, Dexter and Kirklynn, father and mother in law, Billy and Marie Thomas, father in law, Bob Nevitt, brother in law, Jason Thomas(Marcy), sister in law, Lindsey Durrett and numerous beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Troy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leroy and Ophie Faulkner, paternal grandparents, Clarence and Doris Brown, mother in law, Evelyn Vessels, sister in law, Toni Thomas and his grandmother in law, Mary Lois Krystynak.

A Celebration of Troy’s Life will be held 10am, Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitations will be Monday from 4-8 pm and again on Tuesday from 10-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Pediatric Heart Association of Kosair Children’s Hospital in Zoey Brown’s name.
