Annie Mae Winston, 79, of Louisville passed away July 30, 2015 at Jefferson Manor. She was born on August 22, 1935 in Lanett, Alabama to the late Johnny and Ida Billingslea. She was a member of Spirit Anew Ministries and the Louisville Amicae. Mrs. Winston was retired from General Electric after 30 years of dedicated service.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her late husband, Robert Winston; a son, Manuel Winston; and siblings, Annie Ruth Green and Mary Gleaves.
She is survived by her loving children, Tony Winston (Sandra), Ouida Winston, Valerie Wheeler Bell (Kevin), Joel Wheeler (Markeitha) and Angela Wheeler; siblings, Johnny Billingslea, Christine Brown, Jessie Billingslea and Mildred Smith ; and a host of grand and great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate her life will be conducted Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10-12 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
