LANCASTER, ANNA M., 94, of Louisville, passed from this life on Tuesday January 3, 2012 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
She was the former Anna Whelan, a native of Meade County, and a Catholic by faith. She is survived by her daughters, Marjorie Monroe (Jessie), Linda Gordon (Ray), Rosalie Whelan (Marion), Janice Miinch, Veronica Humphrey (Len), and Jean Frank (Lee); sons, Joseph (Linda) and Frank (Donna) Lancaster; sisters, Lilie Pike and Georgia Lee Hardesty; brother, Gene Whelan; 27 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Anna's life will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
