Anna Evelyn Strother Ford, age 93, died on August 14, 2011. She was a native of Rochester KY, lived in Owensboro for many years and moved to Louisville in 1957. She was a retired employee of the University of Louisville School of Education and a faithful 50-year member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, playing bridge and UL basketball. Two brothers (Ralph and James), her husband (Thomas Edward Ford) and her son (Tommy) predeceased her.
She is survived by her daughter Judith Ann (Judy) Ford of Lexington, as well as many special family members.
Visitation for friends and family will be held in the parlor at Crescent Hill Baptist Church , 2800 Frankfort Ave.Louisville, KY 40206, on Thursday, August 25th, from 4 to 6 P.M. A private burial will take place in Rose Hill Cemetary, Owensboro KY.
