Aaron "Randy" R Duke

Aaron R. "Randy" Duke, 69, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on November 18,2024. Randy was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was deeply admired by his family. He was known to show up for his loved ones, often working overtime when he was needed, or coming to the rescue for car trouble, no matter the time, day or night. Randy was a true handy-man, always offering to help those in need and was a member of United Auto Workers 862 (UAW) having retired from Ford Motor Company Truck Plant with 24+ years. He retired from Bremner Biscuit with 20 years, he held a membership with Bakery, Confection, Tobacco, and Grain Miller's (BCTGM) Union. Most of all, he enjoyed the time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and created lasting memories with them.

Born on March 31, 1955, in Louisville, Kentucky, Randy was the son of Aaron Thomas Duke and Cecelia Ann Woods Duke. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Tom Ray Duke and his sister Bernadette Mills.

Randy is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Donna Eaton Duke; children Angela Duke, Chris Duke (Eugenia), David Duke (Lesley), and Amanda Duke Lomax (Steven); Siblings Sharon Shepherd, Elaine Cady (Tony), Richard Duke, and Jimmy Duke (Denise); Grandchildren Justin Schroerlucke, Maranda Duke, Tyler Nauert, Brandon Duke (Jessica), Kobie Nauert, Elijah Duke, and Arianna Lomax; and Great-Grandchildren Jackson Duke and Alexander Duke as well as a wide circle of extended family and friends are also left to cherish his memory.

Visitation for Randy will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213 on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The funeral will be at the same location at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
