Vincent Joseph Kumer of Los Osos California passed away on December 4, 2024. Vincent was born in Pennsylvania and served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1968. He met and married his late wife June Kumer in Long Beach California shortly after his honorable discharge from the military. Following a brief time teaching high school history, Vincent enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a Software Engineer for Northrop Grumman. Vincent is survived by his daughter Anne Kumer, brother Robert Kumer, cousin Judith Carlson, as well as extended family located across the country. He is preceded in death by his wife June Kumer, with whom he enjoyed just under 50 years of marriage before her passing in January 2021. Both twenty-year residents of Los Osos, they enjoyed traveling and spending time together.
A celebration of Vincent’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
