Leann Parker

Leann was born July 23,1950, in Grand Saline, TX, daughter of Leroy and Alta Barker. She graduated from Sunset High School, and later received her Cosmetology license in Oak Leaf TX, then began her career as a beautician in Kilgore TX. She was a member of The Lighthouse Church of Liberty City for many years where she held the job of Church Secretary.

Mrs. Parker met the love of her life Dale Parker, whom she loved dearly. She and Dale were married for over 40 years. Leann is preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Dale Parker, and Granddaughter Brittney Nicole.

A Devoted Mom first & foremost, loved her church family and dedicated her life to God. She enjoyed baking, watching her soap operas like General Hospital and loved a good cooking show. (Paula Dean or Rachael Ray).

She is survived by her son Bobby Edmondson (Miranda) of Kilgore, daughter Christie Casillas (Mark) of Hardin, son Lee Parker of Liberty City. Grandchildren Logan Edmondson (Kayla), Lane Edmondson (Shawnna), Braden Edmondson, Mason Edmondson, Bobby Casillas (Anyel), Meghan Bradford (Daniel), Arden Parker. Great Grandchildren Kinslee, Logan Jr. (Bubba), BleuAnn, Naviah, Peyton, Paisley, Axel, Olivia, Isaac, and Justin. Siblings Nancy Burns (Daniel), Carol Burns (Mike) and numerous nephews/niece to whom she treasured.

A graveside service for Leann will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Gladewater Memorial Park 4716 US-80 Big Sandy, TX 75755. Serving as pallbearers are Greg Waits, Jeff Waits, Bobby Edmondson, Logan Edmondson, Bobby Casillas and Lane Edmondson.
