Gary Charles Davis

Funeral services for Gary Charles Davis, 69, of Kilgore, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2015 at Lakeview Funeral Home, with the Rev. Scott Brown officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Gary was born August 6, 1946 in Torrance, California to the late Fred and Henrietta King Davis, and passed away at his home in Kilgore, Texas on August 14, 2015. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, and a proud American. Mr. Davis was a retired electrician and was also co-owner of Med-Rec Services, Inc. and Meadowbrook Preschool in Kilgore, Texas. Gary’s special phrase when speaking to loved ones was “I Wuv You”, and often said it to those he leaves behind, his wife, Brenda Calhoun Davis, of Kilgore, Texas; daughters, Michelle Gregg and husband Shane of Kilgore, Texas; Stacy Keifer and husband Noah of Liberty City, Texas; and Tracy Green and husband Brian, Sr. of White Oak, Texas; son, Michael Leverett and wife Renee of Kilgore, Texas; grandchildren, Meredith Gregg, Michaela Leverett, Rachel Webster, Slade Sills, Mason Gregg, Kennedy Leverett, McKinley Gregg, Michael Boyd, Brian Green, Jr., Rebecca Green, Paul Green, Collin Keifer, Jacob Keifer; great grandson, Levi Davis, as well as many other relatives and friends, and special pets, Baby Girl, Tanner, Bear and Malibu.

Pallbearers will be Slade Sills, Mason Gregg, Michael Boyd, Brian Green, Jr., Paul Green, Collin Keifer, Jacob Keifer, and Gary Fields. Taps will be played at the graveside by granddaughter, Meredith Gregg. The family will receive guest from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, August 20, 2015 in the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home.
