Gary Wayne Brumlow

Gary was born January 13th, 1957 in Kermit, Texas to Max and Chris Brumlow. However, he grew up in Tioga, North Dakota where he graduated and eventually made his way back to Texas where he pursued a career in the oilfield at an early age of 18. Through hard work and perseverance, he worked his way up the ranks and eventually retired in his early 60’s as a drilling consultant. He was a very “Simple Man” who had a strong love for music, race cars, and most of all his family and God.

Gary Brumlow was preceded in death by his parents; He leaves behind his wife of 21 years, MJ Brumlow of Whitehouse, TX; daughters, Shawna Shacklett and husband Shod of Mineola, TX, Erica Lindley and husband Brian of Winona, TX, Trista Patterson and fiancé Joey of Fayetteville, NC; step daughters, Robin Cook and husband George of Whitehouse, TX, Raven Green and husband Luke of Tyler, TX; grandkids, Tyler Shacklett, Chris Lindley, Seth Shacklett, Will Lindley, Dalton Shacklett, Jaxon Lindley, Jayden Potter, Jaxen Potter, Adisen Cook, Madison Green, Judson Green; great grandkids, Isaac Jimenez, Xyla Shacklett, Loretta Shacklett; best friend, Clayton Kennon of Tyler, TX; and many other loved ones.

If you knew Gary, you knew he was one of the greatest men of all times with the biggest heart, and he will be greatly missed by those lucky enough to have been blessed with him in their lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 9, 2024 at 2pm in the home of Shod and Shawna Shacklett at 22499 CR 455 Mineola, TX 75773 where food and refreshments will be served. All are welcome!
