Private family services have been arranged for Franklin Donald Smith. Arrangements are by Lakeview Funeral Home. Mr. Smith died October 27, 2010 in Longview, born August 22, 1937 in Guthrie, Texas. Mr. Smith served in the USAF, also USAF Reserve. He worked and retired after 36 years with LeTourneau.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Edna Fay Smith; sons, Billy "Trooper"and Paul "Buddy" Smith; one daughter, Donna Fay Shands. Also the sushine of his life, his grandkids, Dustin; Daniel; Kendall Drew; granddaughter, Cecelia Smith; great-grandchild, Nickolas Lumbert; siblings; brothers, Arnold; Jerry; Charlie; sisters, Darlene and Charlotte.
