Barbara Blasingame

Barbara was born November 10, 1941 in Cullen, Louisiana to William Weldon Pyle Sr. and Della Berniece Pyle. Barbara was a long-time resident of Houston, Texas. After graduating college, Barbara started working for a major insurance company and retired several years ago as Corporate Secretary after 30 years with the company. Last year, she and Ray, her husband moved to Longview, Texas to be closer to family.

Barbara Blasingame was preceded in death by her parents and sister Laura Olejnik. She leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years, Ray Blasingame of Longview, TX; brother, Bill Pyle Jr. and wife Jackie of Kilgore, TX; brother-in-law Mike Olejnik of Houston, TX; nieces Angela Anderson and husband JW of Marshall, TX and Ellyn Poole and husband Jeremy of Houston, TX; nephew Richard Pyle and wife Cori of Kilgore, TX and extended family and friends.

The Blasingame family would like to give a special thanks to the Longview Regional staff who took extra special care of her.

A visitation will be help 1:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens chapel, Longview, TX and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM.
