Virgil Roy Beck

Colorado on April 19, 2021. He was born on February 6, 1934 in Phillipsburg, Kansas, to the late Roy and llma (Farley) Beck.

Virgil grew up and attended schools in Laramie, Wyoming. After high school, he attended the University of Wyoming where he met Freda Vance. They were married in Laramie, Wyoming, on October 31, 1953. Virgil served in the United States Army from 1953 through 1955. He worked for the railroad for several years. Later, he started his own concrete contracting business and went on to own VeeBee Carpets for 20 years. He continued in construction until retirement.

Virgil is survived by a host of family that includes his devoted wife, Freda; loving children, Michael (Linda)Beck of Milliken, CO; Doug (Connie) Beck of Platteville, CO; Kevin (Cristina) Beck of Seattle, WA; Kobi Servold of Longmont and Bart (Carman) Beck of Berthoud, CO as well as 16 grandchildren,

28 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Virgil loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, sailing,

trap shooting and playing pool.

A private family service will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2021. A Celebration of Life for all family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm at the Moose Lodge, 2210 Pratt Street, Longmont.
