Shelley Kae Walker

Shelley was born in Longmont, Colorado on April 27, 1962, to Albert and Mary Walker. After graduating from Erie High School in 1980, she went for a brief time to the University of Northern Colorado.

For all of her career, Shelley worked in the school photography industry, starting as a photographer at The Picture Lady and later working for LifeTouch as a photographer and in sales. She retired in 2022.

Shelley was preceded in death by her father, Albert Walker; her mother, Mary Walker; and her brother, Stanley Walker. She is survived by her sisters and their husbands: Cheryl (Warren Jaeger), Cyndee (Larry Ladwig), Cristy (Curtis McMillin), Mary Ann (Brad Harvey), Karen (Scott Malson), and Vicki (Jeff Jordan) as well as multiple nieces/nephews and grand-nieces/nephews.

Shelley enjoyed being with her family and many friends throughout her life. She was passionate about her hobbies (including scrapbooking, photography, and writing), her church family, watching her beloved Denver Broncos, and making sure to bake treats for the incredible staff at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center. Last but not least, she adored her dog, Sophie.

Shelley’s passing has left a large hole in our hearts but we are comforted to know she is with her Lord and Savior.
