Robert E. Staley

Robert E. Staley, 72, of Longmont past away November 27, 2012 at Longmont United Hospital. He was born January 14, 1940 in Brighton, Colorado to Fred and Anna (Schmidt) Staley.Robert graduated from Mead High School, he married Ramona Harnden in 1960 in Denver, Colorado.Robert was a technician for Qwest for thirty five years retiring in 2001. He was a member of The Little Britches Rodeo Assoc., Isaak Walton League and was a Boy Scout leader. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, polka dancing and teaching his Grandkids how to Polka.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard Staley.Robert is survived by his wife Ramona of Longmont, two daughters Robin Flores and husband Andy of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Kori Gonzales of Longmont, And one son Royce Staley, nine grandchildren; Joshua, Aaron, Tyler, Meagan, Connor, Chance, Hailea, Karissa and Casey, and five great grandchildren. A sister Darlene Borgmann and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial service will be 1:30 PM Tuesday December 4, 2012 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
