Richard "Dick" Love

Richard was born on February 1, 1936, to Samuel Ray Love and Dorothy Jeanne Bayless Love in Joplin, Mo. After Richard graduated from high school in 1954, he went on join the Air Force where he served 4 years in Abilene, Texas where he met his wife, Emma Olvera.

Richard and Emma were married on May 23, 1958. They had 55 wonderful years together before her passing. They moved to Colorado in 1962 to make Colorado their home. Here is where they welcomed their daughter Denise Marie Love.

In 2002, Richard retired after 23 years at Richmond Homes as a superintendent. Richard loved hunting and following his grandson Ryan’s activities. After his wife’s death in 2013 he loved spending time with his companion Wilma Caum.

Richard was predeceased by his wife Emma in 2013 and his sister Katherine Robins. He is survived by his daughter Denise of Frederick, CO, his brother Leslie Robins of Long Beach, CA, his grandson Ryan Fountain and his wife Jessica of Centerville, OH, and his great- grandchildren Jacob and Everett Fountain.
