He was born on February 15, 1935, in Cedral San Luis Potosí, Mexico, the son of Nicolas Rojas and Tranquilina Morales. He moved to Longmont in 1989 from Mission, Texas.
Jose Faustino was retired. He was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where he participated as Eucharistic Minister any other services as need. His saying was “Serve God, it does not matter where you serve, just serve.”
He was a spiritual, humble, kind, humorous and charismatic person who always received everyone with a smile and gave blessings to his family and friends. Everyone who visited him at home, left feeling like family with a full tummy and a cheerful heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his sons, Faustino and Miguel Angel.
He is survived by his wife Maria Reyes Rojas, his sons; Luis Rojas, Tino Rojas and his wife Jenny Rojas. His daughters are; Felipa Ahumada and her husband Damaso Ahumada, Alicia Pinales, Maria Guadalupe Rojas and her husband Michael Orosco, Blanca Rojas and her husband Ramon Bustillos, Olga Lidia Rojas-Rodriguez and her husband Rayo Bulmaro Rodriguez, Rosalinda Rojas and Juan Blanco, Alma Leticia Rojas and her husband Daniel Macias. He also had twenty-three grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation hours are from 4 to 6pm Thursday, April 13, 2023 and Recitation of the Rosary 6-7pm at Howe’s Mortuary.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Friday April 14, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Humberto Marquez and Rev. Hernan Florez Albarracin as celebrants. Burial will be at 1:00pm at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. Reception at 2:00pm St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
