Johnnie Eugene Prock

Johnnie Eugene Prock, beloved husband, father, and friend passed away peacefully on February 7th, 2021 in Berthoud, CO. He was born on January 31st, 1961 in Derby, CO to Johnnie and Frances (Sagebaum) Prock.

Eugene grew up and attended school in Longmont, Colorado. During this time, he met the love of his life Brenda (Guyett) Prock. They had a son on January 2nd, 1992, Joshua David Prock, and later married on September 16th, 1995 in Beaver Meadows. Eugene spent most of his time with his family, hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He loved the freedom of riding his Harley Davidson and gave to many charitable organizations.

Family and friends were the most important aspect of his life. There was not a day that went by without him bringing a smile to someone’s face. He was greatly admired by everyone he encountered and had an eternal optimism about everything in his life.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Brenda Prock, and his son Joshua Prock; His father John Prock and his partner Roberta Smith; sister’s Alice (George) Sittner and Sandra (Dave) Pechin; and multiple nieces, nephews, sister and brother in laws. Eugene was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Prock.

A memorial will take place Saturday, February 13th 2021 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Shupe Homestead, 11931 N 61st St, Longmont CO 80503.
